Hi, I’m Roli – thanks for dropping by!
I’m a therapist and life coach who specialises in working with new parents, mums to be and women who are childless not by choice.
So why share your story with me? Let me tell you a little more about mine.
How I work
I specialise in counselling mums and mums-to-be to move ‘beyond baby blues’ and navigate through the tricky, early stages of parenthood.
Spending time working through your issues with someone who will listen in a friendly, non-judgemental and impartial way (yes, me!) can be life changing, and one of the best self-care investments you’ll ever make.
I know ‘having therapy’ can feel quite daunting, especially when life seems overwhelming or out of control. But it takes real strength to recognise when you need help.
If you’re having problems conceiving, are anxiously pregnant or having difficulties coping with a new baby or toddler, you’ve come to the right place. Please get in touch and let’s have a chat. I look forward to hearing from you.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change

How much therapy?
I typically support clients over several weeks and months and meet on a weekly basis. I believe ‘deep therapy’ allows us to get to the root cause of issues rather than provide a ‘quick fix’, which I find rarely leads to long-lasting change.
(If you’ve had therapy before and are still struggling with the same problems, you’ll know what I mean.)
However, I appreciate paying for long-term counselling, especially if you’re on maternity leave or are a stay-at-home mum, can be a stretch.
If you find you need one-to-one help, I believe therapy is the best investment you’ll ever make for yourself. Counselling has the power to transform lives forever.
That’s my experience, so I always urge others to do the same, whether with me or another therapist – short or long-term. And if you’re anything like me, you’ll wish you’d done it sooner.
Together we can make sense of what’s making you feel stuck and heal the wounds
towards a more positive and healthy mindset.
My areas of specialism
Although I have worked with clients facing many different challenges, I am particularly interested in supporting women ‘beyond baby blues’ with their pre- and post partum mental health.
While the therapy I offer is about you, not me, I have gone on my own fertility ‘journey’, so I do identify with many of the issues women can face when trying to become a parent.

Training & experience
As well as being educated to Masters level, I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also trained in remote therapy practice, so I am well-versed in providing effective counselling over the phone and online.
In addition to my specialised private practice, I’ve worked at a charity that supports adults with various mental health challenges, as a student counsellor and I am also a bereavement support volunteer.
I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the strict ethical and professional codes of the BACP and its requirements for ongoing supervision and continued professional development

Before training as a counsellor, I spent over 15 years in the corporate world as a writer and editor. I use my love of writing to create articles to support other therapists on their websites. If you’re a counsellor and would like help writing blogs, please get in touch.
