Coaching

As a coach, I help professional women with successful careers rebalance, find joy and pursue a life of purpose beyond ‘just’ being a mum.

Who are you?

Are you ready to make a change in your life but you don’t quite know where to start? Perhaps you’re:

  • On maternity leave dreading going back to work – you’re looking at ways to mentally prepare your return to the office
  • Back at work after having kids but looking for a new career path – you just need some help figuring out what that looks like
  • A new mum working in the corporate world wanting to better balance your career and spend more time on what brings you joy
  • A woman childless not by choice ready to design a new life that feels exciting again
  • A working parent who dreams of starting their own business but lacks the time, confidence and focus to take it forward
  • Someone who wants to rediscover who they really are having lost their sense of identity in the pursuit of motherhood
  • A stay-at-home mum ready to re-enter the world of work and needing support to pursue the next chapter of their life with confidence.

A year from now you may wish you had started today

Languishing or flourishing?

Languishing is about an absence of mental wellbeing as opposed to the presence of ill-health. It describes someone who is joyless and not realising their full emotional, psychological or social potential.

In contrast, someone who is flourishing has a zest for life, overall wellbeing, fulfilling social relationships and demonstrates ambitious, goal-seeking behaviour.

Take this free eight-question test to discover where you are on the flourishing scale.

If you find you are languishing as opposed to flourishing, coaching can help you reconnect to your purpose, your sense of self and create a life that makes you feel truly alive again.

One day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to
do the things you’ve always wanted to do. Do them now.

There must be more to life…

Many of us pursue goals in life that we believe will make us happy, but – in reality – they don’t.

While working your way up the career ladder may seem fulfilling at first, becoming a parent (or finding yourself childless not by choice) can certainly help shift your perspective on what matters in life.

Studies show that achieving real happiness isn’t simply a matter of luck. Instead, it takes self-awareness, proactivity and dedicated effort to move in the right direction. And sometimes a little help along the way.

So if you’re ready to start living a life with more meaning that aligns with your needs, values and purpose, coaching might be just what you need. And I’m here to support you – and keep you accountable every step of the way!

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching – like therapy – can be truly transformational. But, unlike therapy, it’s typically shorter-term and future focused.

As a therapist, I can help you heal and process past or present challenges and tackle the underlying causes of destructive patterns and the reasons you feel stuck.

Coaching, however, is all about action, supporting you to achieve your personal or professional goals. We may look at how the ‘there and then’ is impacting on the ‘here and now’, but the focus isn’t about understanding your past or overcoming traumatic events.

With counselling we typically meet at the same time every week, and this can be for many weeks or months. Where coaching sessions are every two to three weeks over a limited time.

Let yourself be silently drawn to the strange pull of what you love.
It will not lead you astray.
